I will be a Journalism major at the University of Oklahoma starting next fall. Recently graduated from Bethany High School, a school that has been recognized as a National Blue Ribbon school of high acheivement.
Experience
I am a National Hispanic Recognition scholar. I scored a 31 Composite on my ACT. I have a high handling of Poetry, being one of Oklahoma's 12 Youth Poet Ambassadors. I am a two-time Oklahoma Poetry Out Loud state Champion. I want to be a tutor because I highly enjoy being helpful within people's lives, and I would love to have an influence in someone, and help said person succeed academically. I've taken a plethora of AP classes, and I've also taken, and passed a variety of AP tests, and I can share my experience with the way tests are constructed. Other than that, I've gotten three citations of recognition from both Oklahoma's Senate, and House of Representatives, congratulating me on furthering the language arts and sharing poetry.
