I have worked in an educational setting for many years. Most recently I've spent 4 years in a public library teaching storytimes, educational programs, and STEM classes for all ages. My tutoring methods include alternative education techniques, incorporating play and fun into our learning process. My goal is to assist children in learning the necessary skills while demonstrating how learning can be a fun and exciting My experience teaching students at Kumon Math and Reading Center for multiple years equipped me with a variety of techniques to simplify and ease the core learning process. My time spent in a public library, working with parents, teachers, and students has given me a wealth of knowledge of literature, reading, and school readiness. Many of my lessons include hands on activities, problems solving scenarios, or games developed for multiple learning personalities. Over the years I have created countless lessons for K-6th students, centered around a variety of school concepts including school readiness, STEM, critical thinking, teamwork, communication, etc. I'm happy to tailor my lessons for the learning style and needs of your child.
